Carbon fiber fabrics can be grouped in two ways. We can categorize by tissue density and their types. There are classic crochet fabrics (e.g. 1K, 3K, 12K) and unidirectional fabrics.

The other grouping aspect is whether a carbon fiber fabric has high modulus, strong or high resistance. The former are very rigid and lightweight, the latter are extremely resistant and flexible.
